These came stock on my vehicle. I was excited to have them until.the belts in the tire slipped and they are noisy and definitely not the Pirelli quality I was used to.
This tire is no good on my 2017 707hp hellcat. Not good traction at all for this beast that came stock with these tires. At 70 mph tires easily break traction. It also takes 15 minutes of driving before they feel balanced, the car shakes until they warm up.
These are a summer only tire, hydroplane risk with steady rain above 65mph. Poor traction pulling out in cold weather below 35 degrees F. Warm sunny days, these tires stick to the road - hard to find anything better under ideal conditions.
22,289 miles so far, on a 2014 Camaro SS. Punishing driver take off and corners.. No tire roll or slide at heavy cornering stick like glue to the road Even with a heavy car, on and off ramps are just unreal and quite impressive if you know Camaro's handling abilities you will see that's why GM chose the P Zero for the newly redesigned 014 muscle car. Quiet road huggers and still Not even close to tread wear indicators.. Ls-3 426 hp with Headersand K&N Blackhawk.. So yeah I abuse them..and will reuse them.. The Way to Go Is with the P Zero.
The Jag goes thru these in about 10K miles.
My P-Zeros were the factory installed tires with the RS option. I have no problems with the tire's performance, only with tread life. I admit that I drive the car in a sporty manner, I don't do burnouts or track style cornering. These tires are rated at UTQG 220 and I had to replace them at 24,000 miles as they were worn out.
Nice performance tires, but not comfortable in wet conditions.
I NEED TO BUY TWO 245/45/ZR20 103Y TIRES
Having gone the long lifetime of my Pirelli P Zeros, I am definitely buying a new set for my Jaguar XK8 Convertible. Ride comfort, handling (both wet & dry), cornering, and quietness are all superb qualities of this tire. Running 255-45-18s on the rear and 245-45-18s on the front makes all the difference on this car. I highly recommend this tire to anyone driving a sport/hi-performance automobile.
They have got to be the best tire out there. Was recommended by my brother as he used have them for racing and every day use on his car. I love them. Can't go wrong with tires that gives such good performance and hardly any noise at all. Will recommended them to everyone I know.
Stick like glue, excellent prohibiting hydroplaning. What I love is the response and quiet ride. Best tires we ever had, makes the choice of what to replace them with really simple!
The Pirreli's were recomended by my tire man WoW WHAT DIFFERANCE softer, quieter, great grip. Also excellent in cornering and braking great in the wet and on curvy roads.
The Pirelli is probably the best tire I have driven as far as performance goes. As for ride quality and road noise...Outstanding tire! I went from the RSA to this tire and it is night and day. Even in the rain this tire far out performed any other performance tire I have driven on.
After 25,000 miles of adult driving on my Camaro SS, these tires are only 1/2 gone, and exceed all my expectations when I occasionally drive like a teenager. Plus, they are smoother and quieter on the highway than anything I have owned. So, I will replace them with same when the time comes.
I switched to the Pirelli P Zero and it's like day an night. I absolutely love them. The Pirellis ride quietly and smoothly. They steer responsively and stop quickly on hard braking. Dry grip is plentiful and the breakaway characteristics are progressive and easily controllable. Wet grip is adequate, but you can get better rain tires for the money. Fuel economy is also surprisingly good on long freeway stretches. I've alway been a Pirelli man.
OEM for the 5th Gen Camaro SS. This is a very sticky tire. Great traction. I had 40,000 miles on the rears with 3/32" tread left. The Pirellis are great. Predictable, safe, reasonably quiet. Cornering is excellent, even at 15-20MPH over the posted speed on a outward-sloping on ramp. A wonderful tire to have if you need to stop NOW! They just squat and STOP! I'm sticking with Pirellis.
